Our 1% commitment

Currently, only 3% of philanthropic donations go towards environmental causes. Three.
That’s a really, really small number. Interestingly enough, we can make a huge impact on that small number with an even smaller number: 1%.

That’s where 1% for the Planet comes in.

WHAT IS 1% FOR THE PLANET

1% for the Planet is a member-based nonprofit organization where businesses all over the world commit to donating 1% of their annual sales — not profit… sales! — to environmental nonprofit organizations. These organizations work on issues that focus on bettering the planet like climate advocacy, food policy, wildlife restoration, and much more.

Which means consumers do, too. Every time an individual or a business buys a product/service that sports the 1% for the Planet logo, a portion of that product’s proceeds go towards protecting and rejuvenating Mother Earth.

FENOMENO & 1% FOR THE PLANET

Building a company with environmental integrity has recently been at the forefront of our mind. That’s why, in October 2021, we’ve become a member of 1% for the Planet.

In the first fiscal year of our membership, we’ve supported different organizations and a broad spectrum of causes:

De Landgenoten.
Make Life Skate Life.
WeForest.
Natuurpunt vzw.
Canal It Up.
Pro Ocean.
The Madagascar Whale Shark Project.
Natagora.

All these organizations have received a monetary donation of 150 EUR or more.

Moreover, in the light of our 1% membership, we’ve also made a video for ‘De Landgenoten’, a Belgian environmental partner of 1% for the Planet. We would love continuing to use our video voice in the upcoming years for other environmental nonprofits as well.
