Mission:

Produce a series of three short documentaries for Instagram featuring Dutch athlete Diane Van Es. The focus needed to be human-centered, with minimal emphasis on the product. Each episode highlighted a different theme: clearing your mind, managing pressure, and the significance of routines.

Challenge:

With only a few hours to spend with Diane at a single location (Papendal, Arnhem), it was a challenge to capture enough variety in footage to create three distinct videos, each approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds long.

Our solution:

We chose to incorporate mixed media in our videos to enhance the visual storytelling. This approach combined moving images, photographs, and footage captured on Super 8 film, creating a more dynamic and engaging visual experience.
